our weekend at the family home
one thousand metres up
with my grandfather, 96, telling stories
of barefoot winters and hard agricultural work

what to do with those stray chickens?
luckily, after much circling, they worked their way back in )

there are a few more - maybe tomorrow )

Fantastic images! Lovely photos
... giggle about the stray chickens.
I'd like to see your grandfather, 96... and I imagine him, sitting on a cosy chair, in a nice shady place.

I present you a Liebster Blog Award! For more information, please look at my place.

dear Ariane, thank you humbly for the honour, i'm a bit like a rabbit caught in headlights ! - or am i fretting, like those chickens ? i will happily send it on as soon as i refocus )

you would love my grandfather, yes, sitting in the shade of the walnut tree and the vine.

Beautiful! I remember the first time we all went there. At night we looked up in the summer sky and saw the stars...the day we christened our Eleni.... Almost 11 years ago. I would love to revisit.......

came to visit again to see your chicken tonight.
here, rain all day and i think we are in rainy season now and wil last for a month or so....i don't like this long rainy season at all...all grey dark day.
i need much sunshine and blue blue sky.
how is your side of sky today.

coco, our side of the sky is blue as far as the eye can see. it will stay like that for at least the next four months - nowhere to hide !
